Only 40 people at a time see the Last Supper, for 15 minutes, in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The museum sells its tickets in blocks of several months, released on one day at noon, and the popular slots go fast.
At the end of October 2026 the last block on sale covers September to December 2026. Nothing for 2027 had been announced. This post tracks the official release dates and will be updated when the 2027 ones are published.
The quick answer
Tickets for January 2027 onwards were not on sale at the end of October 2026, and the museum had not announced the release date. In 2026 tickets went on sale in three blocks: 17 December 2025 (February to April), 24 March (May to August) and 23 June (September to December), each at 12 noon. Extra tickets for the following week go on sale every Wednesday at noon. A full ticket costs EUR 15.
When do Last Supper tickets for 2027 go on sale?
The date had not been announced at the end of October 2026. The museum posts each release on its news page a few days ahead, sometimes only one, always for 12 noon Italian time.
The official info page still describes a quarterly rhythm: September for November to January, December for February to April, March for May to July, June for August to October. The 2026 releases did not follow it. They came in longer blocks, the last one announced on 22 June for September, October, November and December 2026.
That leaves January 2027 onwards unsold. Our reading of the pattern: expect the next release in late autumn, announced at short notice on the museum's news page. If you are travelling in January or February 2027, check that page weekly and set a reminder for noon on the day.

How do you book Last Supper tickets on release day?
Online at the official shop, up to 5 tickets; by phone on +39 02 92800360, up to 9; groups of 10 or more by email.
The official channel online is lastsupper.shop, run for the museum on the Vivaticket system. Be logged in before noon and know your preferred times. Names on tickets bought online cannot be changed afterwards, so enter them carefully.
On the day of the visit, arrive at the ticket office next to the museum at least 30 minutes before your time with the ticket and an ID document, then go to the museum entrance at least 15 minutes before the slot. Late arrivals lose the visit. Bulky bags are not allowed inside; timed lockers are available.
How much does a Last Supper ticket cost in 2027?
EUR 15 for adults aged 25 and over, EUR 2 for ages 18 to 25, free under 18. Every ticket, free ones included, must be booked.
Those are the current prices on the official info page; no change for 2027 had been announced. The museum opens Tuesday to Sunday from 8.15 am to 7 pm, last admission 6.45 pm, and closes every Monday, on 1 January and on 25 December. The visit itself lasts 15 minutes.

| Under 18 | Free | Still needs a booked slot |

What can you do if Last Supper tickets are sold out?
Try the Wednesday noon release for the following week, call the phone line, or book a guided tour that holds reserved entry.
Every Wednesday at 12 noon the museum releases extra tickets for the following week, online only and for individual visitors. It is the best free option if you are already in Milan or arrive within a week. Refresh at noon sharp; they go quickly.
Tours buy their slots in advance, which is what you pay extra for. The Duomo and Last Supper small-group tour ($127, 3 hours, 14 people at most) and the Milan in one day tour ($113, 6 hours) both include reserved entry. Both need every guest's full name at booking. A guest on the one-day tour put it plainly: "you have to schedule it months ahead and they sell out very quickly. [...] the best guarantee is through a tour group". The same guest added the catch: "the Duomo visit does not include the terraces and rooftop".

Reserved Last Supper entry plus a guided visit inside the Duomo, in a group of 14 at most. The rooftop is not included.
Explore the Duomo and Last Supper tour Tour detailsCan you see the Last Supper and the Duomo rooftop on the same day?
Yes. Do the terraces first thing in the morning and the Last Supper in the afternoon; Santa Maria delle Grazie is about a 20-minute walk from the Duomo.
Neither Last Supper tour covers the roof, so add it yourself: an official terrace ticket or the 1-hour rooftop tour in the morning. Avoid Mondays, when the Last Supper is closed, and Wednesdays if you want the Duomo Museum, which closes that day.
Leave at least an hour and a quarter between the end of your rooftop slot and the Last Supper arrival time: 15 minutes to get down the stairs and out, 20 to walk, and the 30-minute check-in. The day-by-day plan is in our Duomo and Last Supper guide.
Add the roof in the morning: an hour on the terraces with a guide, lift up.
